RBTC is pleased to welcome a new member to the team! Alla Daniel joins the RBTC as Program Coordinator where she will help build and manage member programming for the region’s technology and biotechnology businesses.
Alla brings a diverse skill set in communications and event management to the role. Prior to joining RBTC, she served as a marketing and PR coordinator within the communications industry where she balanced client relations and data analysis.
“We are so excited to bring Alla on board,” said RBTC Director Taylor Spellman. “She’s a warm and capable professional who blends precise organizational skills and a collaborative approach to her work.”
As program coordinator, Alla will play a key role in bringing RBTCs high-impact initiatives to life, forge new connections within the Roanoke-Blacksburg tech community, and support existing partners across life sciences, technology, and innovation.
Alla holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and security studies and minors in public relationship and crisis communications from the University of Lynchburg. In addition to her industry experience, Alla has cultivated a capacity for leadership through her involvement as a student athlete and several student committees. She served as captain of the Women’s Lacrosse team at University of Lynchburg, officer for Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).
